Jeff Fasching

Jeff Fasching enters his third season as Concordia-St. Paul's pitching coach in 2022.

Fasching originally joined coach staff as a graduate assistant pitching coach in the summer of 2019 after wrapping up his playing career with the University of Minnesota.

During his career with the Gophers, Fasching compiled a 4-0 record with a 3.12 ERA over 56 appearances out of the bullpen. Over his final two seasons, Fasching combined for 35 appearances with a 1.72 ERA, helping the Gophers win the 2018 Big Ten Championship, while they hosted a regional for the first time in over 40 years. The Gophers would go on to win the regional, with Fasching closing out the first game, before losing to eventual National Champions Oregon State in the super regional.

During his senior season, Fasching was named to the Big Ten All Sportsmanship Team in addition to being named Phil Isaakson Teammate of the Year by his teammates.

After his career with the Gophers, Fasching started his coaching career as a pitching coach with the Saugerties Stallions of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. The Stallions pitching staff led the league in saves and shutouts, while finishing second in opponent batting average, WHIP, and ERA. Three of Fasching's pitchers made the All-Star Game, and two were named to the All PGCBL Teams at the end of the season, with P Lane Miller being named PGCBL Pitcher of the Year.

Fasching's parents are St. John's head football coach Gary Fasching and Cindy Fasching. Jeff has four siblings and resides in Plymouth.
