Jared Kramer joined the Concordia baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2013, making the 2014 season his first as an assistant.

Kramer was a Concordia catcher for three seasons after transferring from Concordia University Wisconsin. He majored in elementary education and has strong ties to the Concordia baseball program. His older brother, James, played for the Golden Bears from 2004-07 and became a coach while Jared was on the team. His younger brother, Adam, followed Jared to St. Paul as a right handed pitcher as the two combined as a battery for three years.

As a Golden Bear, Kramer suited up in 42 games with 27 starts while setting a career-high with 58 at bats as a senior. He slugged a home run as a junior and drove in 13 runs between his junior and senior years. He committed only one career error as a backstop.

He's a native of Wausau, Wis. and a graduate of Wausau West High School.
