Andrew Hanson joins the Golden Bear baseball staff for the 2023 season as an assistant coach.

Prior to coming to CSP, Hanson was an All-NSIC First Team performer and Male Athlete of the Year at Wayne State. During his four seasons with the Wildcats, Hanson hit .318 with 29 home runs and 127 driven in over 171 games while playing all over the diamond. His best season came in 2022 as he put up a .336/.401/.604 slash line on the year.

Hanson is a native of the Twin Cities as he was a three-sport star at Burnsville High School.
