This award is named in honor of Larry Norder, owner of Air Freight Unlimited. Larry gave his time, energy and financial support to amateur baseball throughout the St. Paul area for years. He was a humble person that did not like the spotlight put on himself.
In 2003, coach Mark "Lunch" McKenzie created this award to honor Larry for his dedication to the sport of baseball despite Larry’s objections. For many years, it was the only individual award that Concordia baseball handed out each season and is awarded to the player or players that exemplify dedication to the Concordia baseball program on and off the field. Larry will be missed dearly.
