2024: Appeared in 41 games and started in 26 … slashed .211/.398/.300 … had three doubles, a triple and a home run … tallied 19 hits, 21 walks and six RBIs in 90 at-bats … finished career with second-most walks in school history with 95 … collected a season-high two hits six times ... smacked a triple against Malone (3/4) … hit his lone home run of the season against UMary (3/14).
2023: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … started in 43 games with 45 appearances for the Golden Bears … led the team in on-base percentage at .465 … recorded a batting average of .295 and a slugging average of .364 … recorded six doubles and 19 RBIs … tallied lone home run of the year against Winona State (4/14) … scored four runs against Adams State (3/3) … tied a career-high with three hits against Sioux Falls (5/2).
2022: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence ... appeared in 42 games with 37 starts ... finished with a .260 batting average and .469 on-base percentage ... recorded 26 hits, 18 runs and 15 RBIs in 100 plate appearances ... was walked 33 times and was hit-by-pitch eight times ... set a career-high with three hits against Minnesota Duluth (3/17) and three RBIs against Winona State (5/6).
2021: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence… made 13 appearances, starting the final five games of the season for Concordia … collected six hits in 16 at-bats to tally a .375 batting average … added a .500 on-base percentage and a .438 slugging percentage as he drew four walks … scored six times and drove in two … picked up 15 assists as he fielded at a .957 clip … hit safely in four of five games from May 3-5, including a three-game hitting streak to start that stretch … reached base safely in the final six games of the year … went 3-7 with a double, three runs scored and two RBIs in a doubleheader against Winona State on May 5.
2020: Appeared in three games in his first season with the Golden Bears … reached base at a .500 clip as he was hit by pitch in one of his two plate appearances … made his collegiate debut with an at-bat at Central Missouri on Feb. 22.
Lakewood High School: Lettered three times in baseball for the Tigers … First Team Academic All-State and All-Jefferson County Conference honorable mention … slashed .312/.422/.589 with 17 doubles, five triples and a home run … drove in 39 and scored 78 runs while also stealing 33 bases … helped the team to a conference tournament title in 2018.
Personal: has two relatives that also played college baseball … has two sisters …majoring in business management with a minor in finance at Concordia.
What made you want to join the Golden Bears?
"I was looking for a school that accepted some college credit I had earned in high school, while also being a competitive team in a competitive conference. CSP checked all of those boxes and then some, making my decision to join CSP one of my greatest decisions yet."
How is CSP helping you reach your goals?
"CSP baseball teaches me how to be a great baseball player, but an even better person."
Is there a faculty or staff member who has stood out to you, and why?
"Joe Hoffer, who is our athletic trainer. He grinds for the success and recovery of all the student-athletes. His travel schedule is as hard as ours, and his days start and end before and after the players. He is a dedicated professional, and an even better friend and person. Joe is a great batting practice thrower, bike rider and he also has the best hair in the NSIC."
