Concordia Career:
2018-2019: Was named to the D2CCA All-Region second team, as well as  All-NSIC First Team, was selected to the Academic All-District Second Team, was named NSIC South Player of the Week honors two weeks in a row (2/12 and 2/18) … was fourth in the NSIC in scoring, and third in the NSIC is assists … on February 23rdat Upper Iowa she surpassed Anika Whiting’s all-time leading scoring record of 1,982 by scoring 20 points to get her 1,990 setting a new team record and becoming the new all-time points leader in team history, she ended her career with 2,021 points becoming the first player in Concordia women’s basketball history to reach the 2,000 career points mark … scored ten or more points in 25 of the 28 games she played, scored 281 points in the last 15 games of the season … started in all 28 games this season, played a combined total of 895 minutes for an average of 32.0 which led the team … led the team with 468 points and 97 assists, was tied for third on the team with 24 stelas as well as fourth on the team in rebounds … she shot 45.1% from the floor (166-368), made 33.3% of her three pointers (24-72) which was tied for third on the team, she nailed down 80.6% of her free throws (112-139) which was the best on the team … put up a season high 31 points vs Bemidji State (02/27), had a season high nine assists vs Southwest Minnesota State (01/11), went nine for nine in free throws at Minnesota Crookston (02/09), also played a season high 41 minutes vs MSU Moorhead (02/02). 
 
2017-18: Secured All-NSIC First Team honors, as well as being named to the All-Academic team … earned two NSIC South Player of the Week honors (11/13 and 11/27)  … surpassed 1,000 career points in the first game of the year, and now sits third in CSP history in career points with 1,553 … led the team in scoring and was second in the conference, averaging 19.4 points per game for a total of 563 season points … tallied 937 minutes on the year, averaging 32.3 minutes per game … shot 45.7% from the field, 40.7% from deep, and 86.7% from the line … scored 10+ points in 26 out of the 29 games she played this season, scoring 15+ points in 22 different games … scored a career-high 37 points against Southwest Minnesota State, which broke the Division II era single-game scoring record set by Jineen Williams in 2010 … led the team in assists, recording 84 on the season … secured 108 rebounds and 29 steals.

2016-17: Earned All-NSIC First Team honors … named NSIC South Player of the Week (2/10) … played in and started all 29 games for the Golden Bears … led the team and NSIC in scoring with 18.3 points per game and minutes with 35.8 per game … also led the team in total minutes played (1,037), average minutes played per game (35.8), field goals (172), field goals attempted (365), 3-point field goals made (50), 3-point field goals attempted (140), free-throws made (137), free-throws attempted (165), and free-throw percentage (.830) … in NSIC play, Schmitt averaged 18.8 points per game and shot .837 (103-123) from the free-throw line … finished with 14 20+ point game performances including a career-high 32 points at Minnesota Crookston (1/28) … her .830 free-throw percentage ranks eighth in the conference …  poured in back-to-back 26 point games in two big conference wins against Augustana (1/7) and at Minnesota State (1/10) … notched 29 points on 9-13 shooting including 4-6 from deep in 40 minutes of action against Sioux Falls (2/17) … drained a career-high five three-pointers in her 32 point performance at Minnesota Crookston (1/28) … scored 20+ points in the final three games of the season … played all 40 minutes in seven games.

2015-16: NSIC Freshman of the Year … NSIC All-Freshman First Team … All-NSIC Second Team … played in all 30 games with 27 starts for the Golden Bears … led the team in scoring with 15.3 points per game and minutes with 33.9 per game, ranked second in assists with 3.6 per game while also ranking third in three-point field goal percentage at 33.6% and three-point field goals made with 1.3 per game on the year ... ranked fifth overall in scoring and eighth overall in assists per game in NSIC ... led Golden Bears in free throws made while finishing second in field goal percentage and steals and fourth in rebounding in league play … her 15.3 points per game overall is the highest average for any freshman in program history in the D-II era ... reached double figures in 23 of 29 games and scored 20+ points 10 times on the year ... her biggest outburst of the year came on 1/15 as she poured in a career-high 29 points against Minnesota Crookston which also set the single-game D-II era freshman record for scoring … recorded her first career double-double against Augustana (1/18) as she poured in 14 points and dished out 11 assists … had three straight 20+ point performances against Minnesota Crookston (1/15), Bemidji State (1/16), and Minnesota State (1/19) … had a pair of games draining four 3-point field goals and finished with 22 points and 16 points against Minnesota State (1/19) and at Winona State (2/13) … pulled in a career-high nine rebounds at Sioux Falls (1/22) … recorded five steals on two occasions at University of Puerto Rico Bayamon (11/13) and at Upper Iowa (2/12).

Waconia High School:
Lettered in basketball and volleyball for the Wildcats … averaged 29.8 points per game, 5.7 assists per game, and 6.0 rebounds per game … was named All-Wright County Conference her sophomore and junior years … was named All-State as a junior and All-State Honorable Mention as a sophomore … helped set the school record for most points in a game by a team with (122) and threes made (325) … set the school record with 1,809 points in her career … participated in America Reads, SAC and Peer Mentors.
 
Personal: 
Majoring in elementary education at Concordia … her brother plays basketball at St. John's and her sister plays volleyball at the College of St. Benedict.
