ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul soccer team (3-0, 0-0 NSIC) will look to stay perfect on the season as they open NSIC conference action at newcomer Jamestown on Friday and Northern State on Sunday.

Action will start on Friday at 6 p.m. in Jamestown, N.D. from Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium and wrap-up on Sunday in Aberdeen, S.D. at the NSU Athletic & Recreation Fields with a 1 p.m. kick-off.

The Golden Bears haven't allowed a goal in 299 minutes dating back to the 2024 NCAA Central Region game and will look to start their season 4-0 for the first time since 2018.

RECAP OF THE WEEK
The Navy and Gold finish the week 1-0 after a dominant 4-0 win over the Rangers of Parkside on Sunday at Sea Foam Stadium.

The Golden Bears wrapped up a perfect 3-0 non-conference schedule with three shutouts and will look to stay perfect as NSIC action gets underway.

Game One: Concordia 4, Parkside 0
The win marked the first 3-0 start for the Golden Bears and the first non-conference sweep since 2019.

A season-high four players found the net in the win, including Jada Cannady, Sophia Haase, Ashley Bennett and Stella Nielsen

The Navy and Gold showed control of the game from start to finish, holding a 14-8 shot and 5-1 corner kick advantage.

In the first half, Jada Cannady got the Golden Bears on the board early in the eighth-minute with an assist by Ashley Bennett to mark the eventual game-winner and her first goal of the season.

CSP held a 6-1 shot advantage at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Concordia took the reins and never looked back. Sophia Haase scored in the 54th-minute to secure her second goal of the season unassisted.

Just one minute later, Ashley Bennett scored her first goal of the season with an assist from Cannady to extend the Golden Bears lead 3-0.

Parkside riffled off a pair of shots but were unable to keep up with the strong CSP defense and fast offense.

In the 71st-minute Stella Nielsen found the net to record her first collegiate goal and one again extend the CSP lead 4-0. She was assisted on the goal by defender Belle Abruzzo

A back-and-forth dual of shots for both teams took the game to the final buzzer and gave Concordia the shutout victory.

Goalkeeper Kayla Mutuzak got her first start of the season in net, making two saves to earn her third career shutout for the Navy and Gold.

12 players had at least one shot attempt to mark a team season-high, Haase led the team with three shots and two coming on goal.
