EMPORIA, Kan. - A recent winter storm in Kansas, combined with a forecast with more precipitation and extreme cold have forced this weekend's season-opening series for Concordia-St. Paul at Emporia State to be canceled. 

The Golden Bears and Hornets were scheduled for a 4-game series at Trusler Sports Complex Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Concordia will now turn its sights to a three-game set in Maryville, Missouri against NW Missouri State on February 27, 28 and March 1.
