KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball team (3-0, 1-0 NSIC) earned its highest ever position in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II Men's Basketball Rankings, coming in at No. 21 after receiving 82 points.
The ranking is just the third in program history, with the Golden Bears coming in at 24th in the February 11 and February 25 polls last season.
CSP is the lone NSIC representative in this week's poll, with Minnesota Duluth receiving 37 points.
Concordia opened its season with wins over Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State at the NSIC/MIAA Challenge before securing a dominant 83-58 victory over Winona State in its NSIC opener.
