KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Concordia-St. Paul senior guard Antwan Kimmons was selected to the Bevo Francis Award Top 100 Watch List as selected by The National Awards Committee and Small College Basketball, it was announced on Wednesday.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season. The list is comprised of players from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA.

2025 marks the eighth year of the Bevo Francis Award. Past winners include Dominez Burnett of Davenport University in 2016, Justin Pitts of Northwest Missouri State University in 2017, Emanuel Terry of Lincoln Memorial University in 2018, Aston Francis of Wheaton College in 2019, Kyle Mangas of Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 and Trevor Hudgins of Northwest Missouri State University in 2022. In 2023, RJ Sunahara of Nova Southeastern was named the winner, while in 2024 Elijah Malone of Grace College received the honor. The award was not presented during the 2021 season.

Kimmons has been one of the top players in all of NCAA Division II so far this season, leading the NSIC and ranking top 10 in the nation in both points (25.8) and assists (6.1) per game. The senior leads all of Division II with 152 made free throws this season, and paces the conference and ranks third in the country with 139 made field goals. Kimmons has scored 40 or more points three times so far this season, including a pair of 43-point performances, and is the only Golden Bear with more than one such game in his career. His current scoring average of 25.8 points per game would be the highest single-season mark in school history by more than one full point. On December 21, Kimmons' 40-point game against Minnesota Duluth made him the 20th member of CSP's 1,000-point club.

Kimmons is one of four NSIC players on the initial list, joining Charlie Katona of Minnesota Duluth, Caleb Van De Griend of Minot State, and Kyreese Willingham of Minnesota State.

On February 15th, the list will be reduced to the Top 50 players. One month later on March 15th, the Top 25 players will be announced. On April 5th, the finalists of this year's award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner being crowned on April 7th.
