Following the game, head coach Steve Bellis stated, "We came across a well organized Minot team today and could not break them down as well as we'd hoped. Losing on a pks is always hard but we are proud of our successful season and certainly excited about the program's future."

The Beavers responded with a goal of their own to once again keep the score even.
