ST. PAUL, Minn. – The #8 Concordia-St. Paul volleyball team (19-5, 14-2 NSIC) will wrap up the regular season this weekend with a pair of conference matches on the road at Minnesota Crookston (7-17, 4-12 NSIC) on Friday and Bemidji State (8-16, 3-13 NSIC) on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
Concordia hosted its final conference matches at the Gangelhoff Center last week, topping Minnesota Duluth on Friday evening in four sets before falling 3-1 to #2 St. Cloud State on Saturday afternoon.
NSIC TOURNAMENT
With Friday's win, the Golden Bears locked up a top four spot in the final NSIC standings and a home NSIC Tournament Quarterfinal match at the Gangelhoff Center on Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m. against an opponent still to be determined.
IN THE POLLS
The Golden Bears remained at #8 in the most recent AVCA Coaches Poll after another 1-1 week with a win over Minnesota Duluth and a loss to #2 St. Cloud State.
Concordia has been a mainstay near the top of the poll for nearly two decades as they have only ranked outside the top 10 for seven weeks since 2003, never ranking below #15. Heading into the season, the Golden Bears have ranked #1 at least once in 15 of the past 18 seasons. In total, CSP has spent an incredible 83 weeks at the top team in the country since debuting there in the 2004 preseason poll.
TEAM LEADERS
Named All-NSIC First Team this week, setter
Teagan Starkey continues to be a national leader at her position, leading the NSIC and ranking second in all of NCAA Division II with an average of 12.54 assists per set this season.
Also earning All-NSIC First Team honors,
Sophia Andersen has been Concordia's top offensive threat, leading the team with 283 kills (3.22 per set). Her hitting percentage of .235 ranks fourth on the team among those with at least 100 attacks.
Named the NSIC Freshman of the Year and earning All-NSIC First Team honors,
Makenna Nold leads the team and ranks seventh in the conference with 3.57 points per set this season. Her 237 kills are tied for second on the team while her 78.0 total blocks also rank second on the roster.
The final Golden Bear named to the All-NSIC First Team squad,
Emma Schmidt has also contributed on both offense and defense, ranking fourth on the team with 218 kills and third with 226 digs.
Earning All-NSIC Second Team honors, middle blocker
Claudia Stahlke also ranks highly on the Division II leaderboard, leading the conference and sitting fifth in the country with 127 total blocks. Her average of 1.37 blocks per set also leads the NSIC and is 10
th in Division II. Stahlke has also contributed on offense, ranking fifth in the team with 196 kills this season. Her .352 hitting percentage leads the team among those with at least 100 attacks.
Libero
Cassie Sieling was the second Golden Bear to earn All-NSIC second team honors for her efforts leading Concordia's back row this season. The junior leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference with 409 digs on the year while her average of 4.40 digs per set ranks eighth in the NSIC.
Mehlayna Straub is tied for second on the team with 237 kills this season (2.58 per set) on a .276 hitting percentage. The sophomore has also made an impact for the Golden Bear defense, ranking third on the team with 56.0 total blocks.
Ellie Sieling has been an effective two-way player for the Bears, ranking second on the team with 240 digs (2.58 per set) and adding 130 kills (1.40 per set).
HISTORY AGAINST MINNESOTA CROOKSTON
The Golden Bears hold a perfect 38-0 all-time record vs. UMC, including a mark of 16-0 in road matchups. The two teams met earlier this season at the Gangelhoff Center, with the Golden Bears claiming a 3-0 sweep.
ABOUT THE GOLDEN EAGLES
The Golden Eagles hold a record of 7-17 overall this season, including a 4-12 record in league play. UMC Libero Kailee Waasdorp has anchored the defensive effort for the Eagles, ranking fifth in the conference with an average of 5.00 digs per set.
HISTORY AGAINST BEMIDJI STATE
Concordia has faced off with Bemidji State 40 times, posting a record of 38-2 in those matches. CSP has claimed the last 36 meetings in a row, with the last loss to the Beavers coming in November of 2001. When the two teams met earlier this year, the Golden Bears won in straight sets at the Gangelhoff Center.
ABOUT THE BEAVERS
The Beavers enter the weekend with a record of 8-16 and a 3-13 mark in conference play. Ashley Crowl has been the offensive leader for Bemidji State, ranking eighth in the conference with 3.55 points per set this season. Her 2.99 kills per set rank 11
th in the NSIC.
