ST. PAUL, Minn. – Due to weather, the Concordia-St. Paul baseball (4-9) conference home opener against the Bemidji State Beavers (1-14) has been postponed till Sunday and will take place at the Woodside Sports Complex in Mauston, Wis.
The series opener is slated for a 2 p.m. start on Sunday and will conclude with a doubleheader on Monday at 1 p.m. followed by game two shortly after.

LAST TIME OUT
Last Wednesday, the Golden Bears concluded non-conference action with a spit series against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The Golden Bears had a combined batting average of .295 between the two games with 18 hits, including five extra bases, 10 RBIs and 10 walks from the two games.

Noah Juliar each batted .500 on the night and notched three hits a piece.
On the mound for CSP,
Eric Lundell (2-0) led the way for the Golden Bears with his second winning performance from the bullpen this season. The junior pitched a 4.0 inning shutout and allowed only one hit on the night.
Matt Sherman also put together a solid performance with 4.0 innings on the bump, allowing only two hits and one run.
In game one, Concordia had to overcome an early four-run deficit with a comeback propelled by solid pitching from Lundell and strong hitting throughout the lineup to defeat the Bulldogs 8-4.
Bryce Nelson went 3-4 from the plate and drove in two runners. Juliar added a 2-3 showing at the plate with an RBI, a run scored and a walk. McGuigan led the team with two runs in a 2-3 outing.
In game two, the Golden Bears took an early 4-0 lead before the Bulldogs responded with five unanswered runs to secure the 5-4 victory.
Brohmer had a strong outing at the plate with a team leading three hits in four plate attempts.
Brayden Roybal drove in two runs and added a run of his own. Sherman pitched well in relief with one run and two in 4.0 innings.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST BSU
The Golden Bears and the Beavers have met 68 times since April 15, 2000, with the Golden Bears' holding a 46-22 series advantage. The Beavers claimed the first five matchups between the two schools that included a 12-5 win in the inaugural matchup in St. Paul. However, the Golden Bears have dominated the series recently, claiming the last six and 16 out of the last 17. Last season, CSP went 4-0 against BSU and won the last game 2-1 in Minnetonka.
ABOUT THE BEAVERS
Bemidji State posted a 6-40 (3-29 NSIC) record in the 2022 campaign and was picked to finish 15th in the 2023 NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll with 17 points.
The Bulldogs are currently 1-14 this season with their lone 8-6 victory against the Malone Pioneers at the Tucson Invitational on Mar. 10. Five of the Beavers' losses have been by three runs or less.
Jack Munson is the batter to watch for the Beavers. The junior has slashed .364/.407/.618 this season with 20 hits, including three home runs, three doubles and a triple. He has also driven in nine runners and has walked three times.
Logan Barrick (1-0) picked up the lone win for the Beavers on the mound and has a 4.91 earned run average. The senior has allowed 13 runs, 31 hits and has walked six batters in 18.1 innings on the bump.
