LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, CSP picked up a road split as they fell 88-71 at Bemidji State before grabbing an 84-68 win at Minnesota Crookston.

On Friday after falling behind the Beavers 24-6 midway through the first quarter, the Golden Bears outscored BSU 65-64 over the final 30 minutes as the deficit proved to be too much to overcome. Junior guard Antwan Kimmons led all players with 24 points on 8-13 shooting and 8-9 from the free throw line. He added six boards and three assists on the night.

On Saturday, CSP scored 51 points in the second half to pull away from the Golden Eagles. Concordia connected on 56.7% (17-30) from the floor and 81.3% (13-16) from the free throw line to turn a 33-33 halftime tie into a 16-point victory. Concordia's leading duo once again paced the squad as they combined for 41 points and 22 rebounds as both registered double-doubles in the win. Antwan Kimmons led the way offensively with 21 points on 6-9 shooting and 8-9 from the line to go along with 10 boards while Marcus Skeete led the was on the glass with 12 rebounds as well as 20 points as he hit 7-13 from the floor and a perfect 4-4 from deep. Kimmons made it five in a row with 20+ points while Skeete registered his third double-double on the year.

MSU MOORHEAD SERIES HISTORY
The Golden Bears and the Dragons are set to meet for the 36th time in the all-time series, with CSP going 13-22 in the previous meetings. Both teams have found more success on their home courts as the Golden Bears have gone 9-8 in St. Paul and 4-14 in Moorhead. After Concordia won three of four from 2016-17, MSUM have won the last three in a row.

LAST MEETING WITH THE DRAGONS
Back on Jan. 29, 2022, CSP was unable to keep pace with MSU Moorhead as they fell 85-66.

The Dragons controlled the game down low as they held a 60-32 edge in points in the paint and a 39-25 edge on the glass. MSU Moorhead added a 14-5 advantage on the offensive glass as well as a 17-6 advantage in points off turnovers, an 11-4 advantage in second chance points and a 32-16 advantage in bench scoring on the night.

Jacob Everson finished in double figures with 13 points on 5-8 from the floor while Jack Stensgard dished out seven assists to go along with four points and three boards. Marcus Skeete had six points while Caden Hoffman had six assists.

NORTHERN STATE SERIES HISTORY
The Golden Bears hold a 7-33 record in the all-time series against the Wolves, with NSU grabbing seven wins in a row. Concordia has found wins hard to come by in Aberdeen as they have claimed just one win in 22 trips to Northern State, but they have had much more success in St. Paul, with six wins in 17 meetings on their home court. CSP's last win in the series came in an 84-76 victory back on Jan. 30, 2016 while their lone win at NSU was a 66-65 overtime win on Jan. 31, 2015.

LAST MEETING WITH THE WOLVES
In the Jan. 28, 2022 meeting, the Golden Bears put together a furious comeback to force overtime in a 76-72 loss to Northern State at Gangelhoff Center.

The Golden Bear defense locked down the Wolves late in the second half, holding NSU to just two points over the final 6:29 to erase a double-digit deficit and force an extra session.

Concordia limited Northern State to just 33.3% (10-30) from the floor in the second half and 42.9% (30-70) for the game while connecting on 43.1% (28-65) on the offensive end on the night. CSP also claimed an advantage from beyond the arc as they hit 44.0% (11-25) compared to 25.0% (7-28) for the Wolves.

CSP added an 11-4 edge in bench scoring as well as a 41-40 edge on the glass while Northern State utilized a 14-7 advantage in second chance points to go along with a 42-28 advantage in points in the paint in the win.

The trio of Marcus SkeeteElijah Ormiston and Jack Stensgard did the heavy lifting on the offensive end, combining for 52 of the team's 72 points in the contest. Skeete led the way with 22 points on 9-18 shooting while Ormiston added 18 points, five rebounds and four steals. Stensgard tallied his first career double-double with 12 points and a game-high 13 boards while he also hit 5-8 from the floor, dished out four assists and grabbed two blocks and two steals. Jacob Everson chipped in six points and nine rebounds.
