RECAP OF THE WEEK
The Golden Bears are coming off an 0-2-1 start to the 2022 season, as they fell on the road to the Parkside Rangers in the non-conference finale 2-0 last Friday in Kenosha.
Katie Anderson led the Golden Bears with five shots (two on goal) in the match.
Abby Kloiber,
Haley Rudebusch, and K. Anderson were the three Golden Bears to put shots on goal in the first half. However, neither one of them could connect and break the first half stalemate.
After the Rangers came out of the break with multiple shots and the offensive advantage,
Nikki Anderson fired off back-to-back shots to try and ignite the Golden Bear offense.
The Rangers would eventually break the tie in the 84th minute with their first goal. They would add another goal in the final minute to secure the 2-0 victory.
