KENOSHA, Wis. - The Golden Bears fell 2-0 to the Parkside Rangers on Friday afternoon in the non-conference finale at Wood Road Field.

Katie Anderson led the Golden Bears (0-2-1) with five shots (two on goal), as they fell to the Parkside Rangers (3-1-0).
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Bears controlled the offensive attack in the first half by outshooting the Rangers 8-to-3.
Sophie Pawlyshyn was able to get off the first shot in the match in the seventh minute for the Golden Bears that missed to the right of the goal.
K. Anderson added the first shot on goal in the contest in the 13th minute with a shot down the middle of the goal that was saved by the Rangers keeper.
In the 29th and 30th minutes, the Golden Bears nearly broke the tie with a shot on goal from
Haley Rudebusch, saved in the bottom center, and K. Anderson, saved in the bottom left.
Abby Kloiber recorded the final shot of the first half that was collected in the middle of the goal in the 41st minute, as neither team would attempt another shot for the remainder of the half and headed to halftime tied 0-0.
The Rangers got off to a strong start in the second half with back-to-back shots (one on goal) in the 49th and 50th minutes.
Nikki Anderson answered with back-to-back shots (one on goal) of her own that occurred under a minute apart in the 53rd and 54th minutes.
Corynn Grabau added the final shot on goal for the Golden Bears in the 74th minute which was saved in the bottom center of the goal.
The Rangers broke the tie in the 84th minute with a goal from Emily Mikkelson that was assisted by Myah Strokosch and added another goal in the final minute by Alexis Baker that was assisted by Mikkelson to secure the 2-0 victory.
