ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul head baseball coach
Neil Lerner has announced that Thursday's NSIC doubleheader between the Concordia-St. Paul baseball team (11-9, 5-3 NSIC) and Minnesota Duluth (9-9, 3-2 NSIC) has been canceled due to poor field conditions at Hopkins High School.
Snowfall on Wednesday coupled with cold temperatures in the area resulted in the field being deemed unplayable after the series was initially moved back a day and shifted to Hopkins High School.
Concordia will return to action this weekend as they travel back to Briaf Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa to square off against Southwest Minnesota State. First pitch is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in Saturday's doubleheader while Sunday's nine-inning contest will begin at noon.
