ST. PAUL, Minn. – Concordia-St. Paul head baseball coach
Neil Lerner has announced the addition of six prep signees in the 2023 signing class.
The class consists of three pitchers and three position players with two from Wisconsin, one from Minnesota, one from North Dakota, one from Illinois and one from Alaska.
Lerner on signing class: "We are extremely excited to announce our 2022 recruiting class. The group is not only talented on the field, but each of the student-athletes is a high character kid that comes highly recommended by their respective coaches. With three position players and three pitchers, we feel this is a very balanced class with an extremely high ceiling. The pitchers we are adding will provide immediate depth and competition to our pitching staff while the position players bring speed, high baseball IQ and great athletic ability. Assistant coaches
Jeff Fasching and
Max Weesner played a critical role in helping us identify and bring in an extremely talented group of baseball players who are also quality individuals. As a staff we are thrilled to add this group to our program and are excited for the future and the opportunity to assist them in their growth and development as students, baseball players and people."
