ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul men's and women's basketball teams will kick off their 2021-122 season with their annual Hoops Madness event on Wednesday, October 21. The teams will be introduced for the first time this season and will entertain fans with different competitions, including a skills competition and a dunk contest.
 
Hoops Madness starts at 6:40 p.m. in the Gangelhoff Center with a free slice of pizza from event sponsor Green Mill for the first 250 CSP students. After pizza, the teams will be introduced followed by competitions highlighting the talents of both players and fans on the court.
 
Past winners include George Scharlau, the 2019-20 dunk contest champion, and Riley Wheatcraft, the 2018-19 three-point champion.

7:15 – Shooting Competition
              Randomly selected students will be placed on a team with CSP basketball players
7:30 – Lightning Challenge
7:40 – Name That Tune
7:45 - Women's Skills Competition
8:00 – Half Court Shot
8:10 – Three-Point Contest
8:30 – Dunk Contest
