Golden Bears continue non-conference play this week

CSP taking on SCSU on Wednesday at US Bank Stadium before heading to Arizona

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul baseball team (0-3) returns to non-conference action this week as they take on St. Cloud State (3-1) on Wednesday morning at US Bank Stadium before opening up play in the Tucson Invitational Games on Sunday.
 
US BANK STADIUM INFORMATION
The Golden Bears are set to take on the Huskies in a non-conference doubleheader at US Bank Stadium on Wednesday morning. First pitch in game one is set for 10 a.m. with game two starting shortly after game one. The two teams will have until 3 p.m. to complete the doubleheader. Live stats and webcast will be available for both games.
 
All fans will enter at the Lower Pentair gate (off South 6th Street). NO ENTRANCE VIA LEGACY GATE OR SKYWAY OR ANY OTHER GATE. Fans will then proceed to sit in sections 126 – 130. Tickets are $5 at the door (children 2 & under are free). Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the day's first game. Outside food and drink is prohibited in U.S. Bank Stadium. Reentry will not be allowed. Free Wi-Fi is available at the stadium. A list of prohibited items is also attached here.
 
TUCSON INVITATIONAL GAMES INFORMATION
Following Wednesday's doubleheader in Minneapolis, CSP will make the trip south to Tucson, Arizona as they kick off the Tucson Invitational Games on Sunday. The team will play eight games over eight days, with five contests against NAIA foes and three against NSIC opponents in non-conference action. Live stats will be available for all games.
 
Concordia opens up play with single games the first two days, taking on Mount Marty on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. and Presentation on Monday at 2:30 p.m. After an off day on Tuesday, the team returns to action with a Wednesday meeting at 4 p.m. against Northwestern (Iowa) and a Thursday meeting at 4 p.m. with Southwest Minnesota State. The Golden Bears then conclude the week with a pair of games on Saturday against Concordia-Nebraska at 5 p.m. and Jamestown at 8:30 p.m. before taking on Bemidji State at 5 p.m. on Sunday followed by another meeting with SMSU at 8:30 p.m. All game times are listed in central time.
 
All games will be played at Kino Sports Complex, the former the spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Chicago White Sox. Single day admission costs $7 (kids 12 and under are free) while a weekly pass costs $30.
