ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul men's and women's basketball teams will kick off their 2019-20 season with their annual Hoops Madness event tonight, October 28^th! The teams will be introduced for the first time this season and will entertain fans with different competitions, including a skills competition and a dunk contest.
 
Hoops Madness starts at 7:00p.m. in the Gangelhoff Center with free sandwiches from event sponsor Chick-Fil-A for the first 250 CSP students. Following the free Chick-Fil-A, there will be games for the fans to participate in, including a fan and player free throw contest.
 
Next up are the player competitions. Junior Cody Carlson will look to defend his first-place title in the dunking contest for the men's team and junior Riley Wheatcraft is the reigning three-point contest champion for the women's competition. Head to the GC tonight to watch them rival against their teammates as they try to defend their crowns!
