ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul baseball team (20-12) will take a mid-week break from NSIC action to head over to Minneapolis to take on 23
rd-ranked University of Minnesota (28-12) on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Siebert Field.

The Golden Bears and Golden Gophers made a late addition to their schedules as the two programs added the single nine-inning non-conference contest just a few weeks ago. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday night at Siebert Field on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Tickets are available
online or at the gate with general admission tickets available for $5-$8 and reserve chairback seating available for $12. The game will be available to

U OF M SERIES HISTORY
Concordia and Minnesota have played once before in regular season play*, a 14-2 Gopher win on May 5, 1993 when CSP was an NAIA program competing at a high level in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), now a DIII league. That year, CSP won the UMAC with a 9-1 conference record and won their first round NAIA District playoff game.

The Golden Gophers enter the week with a record of 28-12 overall and 11-3 in Big Ten play as they sit in second in the conference and rank #23 in the country in Baseball America's latest poll. Minnesota has been playing their best baseball of late, winning 12 of their last 14 contests heading into Tuesday night. Over the weekend, the Gophers traveled to Ohio State and took two out of three from the Buckeyes.
