LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the third week this season, the Concordia-St. Paul volleyball team moved into the top spot in the AVCA Division II Coaches Poll, released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday.

The Golden Bears opened the season at #1 in the polls before returning there in week six and again this week. Last week's top two teams, Northern State and Nebraska-Kearney, both dropped matches over the weekend while CSP picked up a pair of wins, including a four-set victory over then-#7 Minnesota Duluth. NSU dropped to #5 and UMD dropped to #8 while Southwest Minnesota State moved up to #12 in the week's poll.

The Golden Bears have now spent an incredible 84 weeks at #1 since they debuted there in the 2004 preseason poll. Since the 2007 season, CSP has ranked #1 at least once every season. In addition, Concordia has spent all but one week inside the top-5 since October 2012. The last time that CSP ranked outside the top-10 was back in 2003.

The first NCAA region rankings will be released this Wednesday.
