BEMIDJI, Minn. - Due to cold temperatures, Friday's Northern Sun doubleheader between Concordia and Bemidji State was cancelled at BSU Baseball Field.
The four game series will be shortened to Saturday's originally scheduled doubleheader with a first pitch set for noon. Earlier in the week, BSU pushed the start time for Friday from noon to 1 p.m. to accommodate expected cold temperatures. Today, the games were pushed back to 3 p.m. and then again to 4 p.m. before officials decided to cancel the contests as the temperatures never reached a playable condition.
Tomorrow's forecast predicts a high of 44 and a low of 20 with intervals of clouds and sunshine with light WNW winds at 5-10 miles per hour.
The games are set to be featured online with a video webcast, audio stream and live stats.
