The Warriors added two more in the top of the fifth as Butler singled and came around to score and they added another on an error to take a 4-1 lead into the CU half of the fifth.

Concordia rallied in the seventh as they loaded the bases with one down before
Emily Shinn brought in a run with an RBI groundout and
Elena Koncar drove in another with a single. Pinch hitter
Linzy Heim stepped up to the plate with two outs as the winning run and hit a scorching line drive down the first base line but it ended up in the first baseman's glove to end the game.
Jamie Fleischhacker,
Haley Schanks and
Elena Koncar all had two hits for the Golden Bears as Fleischhacker double and scored three times and Schanks and Koncar each picked up an RBI.

Hillsdale (Mich.) 5, Concordia-St. Paul 4For the fifth time on the young season, the Golden Bears saw their opponents pick up the game-winning run in the seventh inning. Concordia held a 4-1 lead into the bottom of the sixth only to see the Chargers tie it up with three in their half of the sixth and another in the seventh to claim the win.
Haley Schanks cruised through the early innings before running into trouble in the sixth as she picked a no-decision. She allowed just 3 hits and two earned runs while striking out five in 5.0+ innings of work.
Fleischhacker broke the scoreless tie with a single that brought home
Teona Zepeda in the third and
Lizzy Swenson hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Shinn in the fourth as Concordia built a 2-0 lead.

The Chargers started the sixth with a single, an error and a walk to load the bases before
Linzy Heim came in to replace Schanks. Heim got the first hitter to hit a sacrifice fly, but the next hitter cut the deficit to one with a single and another run came home on wild pitch to tie the game. Heim, however, struck out the next hitter and coaxed a groundout to escape the inning tied.
The Golden Bears left the go-ahead run on third base in the seventh and were done in with an error with two down and runners on first and third for Hillsdale as the winning run crossed the plate.
Kelly McKenzie was the only Golden Bear with more than one hit as she went 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
