ST. PAUL, Minn. -
This weekend, Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball (7-15, 4-14 NSIC) opens a 4-game road stretch that will close the 2013-14 regular season for the Golden Bears. The road trip begins on Friday at 8 p.m. against Minnesota Crookston (4-18, 1-17 NSIC) before facing NSIC North leader Bemidji State (17-5, 14-4 NSIC) on Saturday at 6 p.m.

The Golden Bears are battling for a seed upgrade in the NSIC/Sanford Health Basketball Tournament. Currently just a game behind seventh place Wayne State, Concordia must finish ahead of the Wildcats to jump them for seeding. If the season ended today, Concordia's first round opponent would be a trip to take on Bemidji State where they'll be on Saturday. If Concordia is able to move ahead of Wayne State, or if Bemidji State falls a spot, the Golden Bears could either take on MSU Moorhead or St. Cloud State on the road as the first round begins on campus sites on Wednesday, February 26.
