ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia University women's basketball team (4-2) closed out their non-schedule with a 92-48 win over William Penn (4-5) on Friday afternoon at the Gangelhoff Center. CU dominated nearly every aspect of the game as they shot 43.8% from the floor while holding WPU to their mark of 21.4%. The Golden Bears were aggressive on the glass as they were a +22 in the rebounding column with 62 compared to 40 for William Penn. Amanda Barton also added 13 points, three rebounds and a pair of steals in just 15 minutes.

Jordyn Dudley's career-best 11 points. Dudley hit a pair of threes and added two boards, two assists and two steals in her 17 minutes off the bench.
No Statesmen players scored in double figures as Jessie Kreuser led the way with eight points and four rebounds. Janay Pritchett and Alyssa Phillips each added seven points as well.
The Golden Bears scored the first 11 points of the game and built an 18-1 lead as they hit their first three three-pointers of the game. The Statesmen were unable to stem the tide as the lead hit 23 at the 9:44 mark with a score of 29-6. A 6-0 run for William Penn cut it back to 29-12 but Concordia extended the lead even further with 10 of the next 12 points to push it to 39-16 with 2:30 to go in the half. The lead remained 25 heading into the break as CU maintained a 41-16 advantage.
Concordia continued to grow the lead in the second half as it eventually hit 35 with a Dudley three to make it 64-29 with 12:54 to play. Jones lifted it to 38 with a three with 6:57 to go as the Golden Bears eventually pushed the lead all the way to the final margin of 44 in the 92-48 win.
