ST. PAUL, Minn. - This weekend, Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball (4-10, 1-9 NSIC) returns home to Gangelhoff Center to host Wayne State (7-7, 4-6 NSIC) on Friday night at 8 p.m. before hosting Augustana (10-6, 7-3 NSIC) on Saturday at 6 p.m.

BOE LOOKING TO MOVE UP TO 2ND
A win for the Golden Bears moves head coach Kelly Boe into second place outright on the all-time coaching wins list for the program. He's currently tied with John Hendrickson (1973-84) with 104 career wins and trails the program's all-time wins leader, Dennis Getzlaff (1988-00), by 28 wins. Getzlaff compiled a 132-204 record in his time on the Concordia sidelines.

VanPELT EIGHT SHY OF 1,000
Another milestone is now within reach as junior guard Terez VanPelt is just eight points shy of the 1,000 point milestone. VanPelt is aiming to become the 16th player in program history, seventh in the Division II era (1999-present) and first since Mike Cunningham in 2009-10 to join the 1,000-point club. He's topped 20-points in a game six times this year all coming in Concordia's 10 NSIC contests including three of the last four games.

SERIES HISTORY VS WSC
The Golden Bears are 15-15 against Wayne State, 10-5 against the Wildcats at home and 9-6 against WSC in head coach Kelly Boe's eight seasons … Wayne State won the earlier meeting this year 65-59 in Wayne, Neb. on Dec. 14 and the Wildcats have won five of the last six in the series … Concordia won the last meeting at Gangelhoff Center last Jan. 26 (74-65) to snap a two-game home skid against WSC.

SERIES HISTORY VS AUGIE
Concordia is 5-11 against Augustana but are 4-4 at home against the Vikings … the Golden Bears are 2-9 against Augie in head coach Kelly Boe's eight seasons … the Vikings defeated Concordia 79-70 in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Dec. 13 this season and have now defeated Concordia four straight times with Concordia's last win on Jan. 3, 2012 at Gangelhoff Center.
