Bob Bartel has announced that this Saturday's NSIC doubleheader against Northern State has been postponed to Sunday at noon and 2 p.m. at Oxford Recreation Field.
Oxford Community Center's softball field is located on the southeast corner of I-94 and Lexington Parkway just a couple blocks to the east of Concordia's campus off Concordia Avenue. (270 Lexington Pkwy N)
The Golden Bears are 21-7 overall and 8-2 in Northern Sun play and are 19-3 over their last 22 games. Concordia is just a half game out of first place in the standings, but trails two teams by the same margin.
Senior pitcher 
Ashley Kluever (Cottage Grove, Minn. ) has thrown shutouts in eight of her last 10 starts and carries an 11-5 record with a 2.64 ERA in 14 starts (16 appearences).  Sophomore outfielder 
Alicia Meiser (Circle Pines, Minn. ) has been a steady presence at the top of the Golden Bear order this season, hitting .417 and stealing 26 bases on the season.  She is currently on a seven game hitting streak.
MSU Moorhead is now 2-23 overall and 0-10 in league play. The Dragons will play at Minnesota State on Sunday to complete the weekend series. They've lost 18-straight games entering tomorrow's play.  Concordia has now won 12 straight over the Dragons dating back to 2007.  CU is now 26-6 overall against MSU Moorhead.
Northern State is seventh in the conference with a 4-6 league record, and 12-16 overall.  Northern State was swept by Minnesota State yesterday in St. Peter, Minn.  Concordia has traditionally had great success against NSU, winning 29 of the 30 matchups all-time.  The Wolves only win over the Golden Bears came back on April 8th, 2011.
