ST. PAUL, Minn. - Due to winter-like weather forecasts in the St. Joseph, Mo. area this weekend, Concordia-St. Paul head softball coach
Bob Bartel has announced that the team will not compete in the MWSU Softball Invite.
Concordia has six games canceled off the schedule as a result, and will look ahead to the start of Northern Sun play next weekend.
The Golden Bears will now play against Minnesota State at the
Savage Sports Center on Tuesday, March 26 at 10 a.m. in the NSIC opener. The doubleheader was initially scheduled for Mankato, Minn.
Concordia is slated to open the home season on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 at Carlander Field with noon start times against Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston however the status of those games is to be determined and will be announced this week.
