ST. PAUL, Minn. - This weekend, the Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball team (7-15, 5-13 NSIC) returns to NSIC South Divisional play, heading on the road to face #15 Winona State (21-4, 15-3) and Upper Iowa (17-7, 13-5) on Friday and Saturday night with a pair of 8 p.m. tips.
Concordia has won three straight games and four of its last five. After an 0-10 start in league play, Concordia has been strong in the second half of the conference season with a 5-3 mark in the last eight contests. The offense has been clicking recently, scoring 85-plus in three straight games during the team's longest win streak of the year.
The offense has been bolstered by the league's leading and the nation's second-ranked free throw shooting percentage at 78.9%.
This weekend will be a tough test, however, as the Warriors are tied for first in the division and the Peacocks are tied for third.
