ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul (4-2) earned a 74-57 non-conference victory over the University of Jamestown (N.D. - 7-2) on Saturday night at Gangelhoff Center behind 20 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals from senior point guard
Rachel Hansen.

Eight of Hansen's 11 rebounds came on the offensive glass and 10 of her 20 points came at the foul line in a solid all-around effort from the floor general.
The game had a pair of ties and six lead changes but all came in the first half. The Golden Bears put together a strong end to the half to go into the break leading by 11 and never looked back.
In the second half, Jamestown only managed to trim the margin to single digits once, a nine point gap midway through the half. Concordia led by as many as 21 points late in the game as well.
While Hansen filled the stat columns, she was joined by three others in double-figures as
Anika Whiting scored 19,
Ameshia Kearney had 12 and
Carissa Wolyniec had 10 points.
The two teams shot an eerily similar number from the floor, with Concordia slightly edging Jamestown by hitting 21-of-62 to Jamestown's 20-of-62 from the floor. Concordia also delivered on one more three-pointer, hitting 6-of-17 to Jamestown's 5-of-20.
The major difference came at the foul line with the Golden Bears making 34 trips and connecting for 26 points while Jamestown hit 12-of-19 at the line.
Concordia's defense also forced 22 turnovers leading to a 30-14 edge in points off turnovers despite committing 16 miscues offensively.
Concordia returns to Gangelhoff Center for non-conference play on Wednesday, Nov. 27 against Northern Michigan at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve.
