ST. PAUL, Minn. - This weekend, Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball (2-0) looks to continue its strong start against Northwood (1-2) and Ferris State (0-1) at McCown Gymnasium on the campus of Winona State.
The Golden Bears picked up season opening wins agianst NAIA competition, Mayville State in the season opener and Waldorf College.
This weekend's competition will provide the Golden Bears their first test against Division II opposition including the exhibition season. With both opponents hailing from the state of Michigan, the games will be considered in-region as part of the NCAA's regionalization process.
Concordia is off to its fifth 2-0 start in head coach Kelly Boe's eighth season, while the team is searching for its third 3-0 start and first 4-0 start under Boe.
