ST. PAUL, Minn.
- The Concordia University soccer team (4-8-0, 3-6-0 NSIC) returns home to Sea Foam Stadium to play host to the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs (9-2-0, 8-1-0 NSIC) on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and the St. Cloud State Huskies (6-5-1, 3-5-1 NSIC) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The Golden Bears picked up a split this weekend on the road at Augustana and Wayne State.  CU fell behind 1-0 early on Saturday but evened it up quickly at 1.  The Vikings answered back with two more goals in the first half to give Augie a 3-1 victory.  CU put the first two goals on the board on Saturday, both from Alahna Anderson, before the Wildcats cut the lead to 2-1.  They were unable to get any closer as CU held the one goal advantage.

Anderson exploded for three goals in the Golden Bears' two games this weekend.  She scored the team's only goal on Saturday in Concordia's 3-1 loss to Augustana.  On Sunday, she provided all the offense again for the Golden Bears, this time scoring both of their goals in a 2-1 win over Wayne State.  Anderson had six shots, four on goal, for the weekend.  She has scored five goals in the last five games and has a team best six on the season.

UMD comes into Friday's game riding a four game winning streak in which they have outscored their opponents a combined 14-3.  This past weekend, the Bulldogs beat Minot State 2-1 and U-Mary 4-0 on the road.  UMD is 4-2 overall on the road this season.  Maureen Stormont leads the Bulldogs with 11 goals on the year, good for second best in the NSIC.

Minnesota Duluth has dominated the all-time series by going 15-0-1 against Concordia.  Last season in Duluth, the Bulldogs pulled out a 4-2 win over the Golden Bears.

St. Cloud State had a three game winning streak snapped on Sunday with a 3-1 loss in Minot.  On Saturday, the Huskies pulled out a dramatic 3-2 win in double overtime against U-Mary.  Naomi Kolhoff has a team best three goals on the year for SCSU.

Concordia has gone 2-9-1 in the first 12 meeting between CU and SCSU but has dropped the last five straight in the series.  Concordia had been shut out in four straight meetings before a 2-1 loss last season.
