ST. PAUL, Minn. - This weekend, the Concordia-St. Paul men's basketball team looks to get on a roll against a pair of strong opponents from the NSIC North Division, MSU Moorhead on Friday at 8 p.m. and Northern State on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Concordia is currently 2-9 overall and 0-7 in the Northern Sun and will take on a pair of teams at the top of the pack in the league. MSU Moorhead is one of the top teams receiving votes for the NABC Division II Top-25 with a 12-1 overall record and a 6-1 mark in NSIC play for a three-way tie for first in the standings.
Saturday's opponent, Northern State, is also tied with MSUM and will be playing the other team in that three-way tie, Minnesota State Mankato, on Friday night while MSUM travels to MSU on Saturday in what is a key weekend for the Dragons and Wolves.
Saturday's game will also feature a banner unveiling ceremony pre-game, so be sure to arrive early for a reception that will feature U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar.
