ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia (20-13, 5-5 NSIC) is set for another home weekend as they will host Wayne State (19-5, 5-7 NSIC) and #22 Augustana (31-6, 9-3 NSIC) at Carlander Field. Concordia will host Wayne State at noon on Friday for a double-header. Then on Saturday CU will host the nationally ranked Vikings for a double header also starting at noon. Friday's games will have a video broadcast live on NMTV with Dan Flanagan on the call. On Saturday the game will have audio on MSBN with Stephen Batcher calling the game. The video stream available on Friday should now allow viewers to pause live games and then start the video again with out skipping to the live stream, much like a DVR or TiVO service. You should also be able to go back if you want to see a play or certain part of the video again thanks to updates from NMTV. Saturday's audio broadcast will remain the same it has been in the past.

The Wildcats have three hitters hitting over .300 on the year including Dani Sandel who is hitting .390 with 12 extra base hits and 18 RBI. Kaiti Williams is hitting .375 and Vicki Nielsen is hitting .352. The WSC pitching staff has an ERA of 2.94 and is led by Sara Scheffert who has 15 starts and nine complete games, she is 8-6 on the year with a 2.80 ERA. Wayne State has two other pitchers with nine starts on the season.

As a team Wayne State is hitting .299 as a team with 61 extra base hits, including 11 homeruns. The have just 10 stolen bases all season which means WSC will not run often which is in direct contrast of the Golden Bears. One WSC player, Kassie Nurton has six of the ten stolen bases on the year.

Augustana can hit, run, field and pitch, which is why they are ranked nationally. The team hits .329 with 37 homeruns, 65 doubles, 49 stolen bases and slugs .507. They also have a .961 fielding average and team ERA of 1.73. Ashley Meyer has a 14-3 record with a 1.43 ERA in 103 innings pitched. She has a 73-14 strikeout to walk ration on the year.

Chelsi Winskowski is hitting .398 leading the team, she is one of four Vikings with an average above .336. The Vikings are second in the NSIC in batting average and rank second in ERA as well. Their 37 homeruns in second in the conference and they are third in stolen bases.

Concordia has worked itself in to the middle of NSIC standings with their four wins last weekend and will try to sweep both the Wildcats and Vikings as they did last weekend to Northern State and Mary. Concordia will be on the road for until the 21st following this weekend.
