ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Golden Bears (16-11, 1-3 NSIC) are back at home this weekend as they host Northern State (12-4, 3-3 NSIC) and U-Mary (12-9, 3-3 NSIC) at Carlander Field on Saturday and Sunday. Both matchups will feature double headers starting at 12:00 p.m. both days. The Wolves and CU matchup could be a track meet with both teams with at least 50 stolen bases, although both teams have done well keeping opponents from stealing. Mary and CU could be a defensive battle.

On the year Concordia is 56-61 and Northern State is 50-61, on the flip side the catcher's for each team have helped keep the opposing teams at bay. The Golden Bears catcher's have thrown out nine of 27 attempted stealers and the Wolves have thrown out four of 16 attempter stealers. Both teams can hit the ball as CU is hitting .284 and NSU is hitting .282 on the year. Concordia may have a bigger advantage offensively as opponents are hitting just .249 off CU pitchers and NSU pitchers are allowing opponents to hit .322 on the year giving up 50 extra base hits.
The University of Mary comes with a team ERA of 2.89 just slightly behind CU which has an ERA of 2.77, however the Marauders hold an advantage as they have given up 82 runs and Concordia has given up 130. Although the Golden Bears have played six more games on the year they are giving up about a run more per game than Mary.
