ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University women's basketball team hits the road this weekend to play a pair of NSIC league games.  On Friday, the Golden Bears (3-4, 1-2 NSIC) take on Sioux Falls (4-3, 1-2 NSIC) at 6:00 p.m. before traveling to play Southwest Minnesota State (1-7, 0-3 NSIC) on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

Both games will be available to watch online, as well as live stats, via the links for each game above.

THE MATCH-UPS... Friday's game at Sioux Falls will mark only the 2nd meeting ever between the Golden Bears and Cougars on the court. Sioux Falls won the previous meeting 80-54 in 1988. This will mark the two schools first ever meeting as NSIC conference opponents.  Saturday's game at Southwest Minnesota State is the 43rd time the Golden Bears and Mustangs have met, with the Bears going 25-17 in those games.

LAST TIME OUT... The Golden Bears split their first home weekend of NSIC conference play with a 79-57 victory over Upper Iowa on Friday and a 62-59 loss to Winona State on Saturday.  CU shot a combined 45-for-117 from the field (38.5%) and won the rebounding battle, outrebounding their opponents by a total of 87-67.

On Friday, Anika Whiting chipped in a season-high 24 points on 5-of-14 shooting from the floor and 14-of-16 from the line.  She also added a team-high eight rebounds on the night. Rachel Hansen also posted a solid line for Concordia with 11 points, seven boards, six assists and four steals.  The Bears blocked 10 shots as a team in the game.

On Saturday, Whiting and Wolyniec paced the Bears with 15 points apiece and Jasmine Haynes added 11.  Wolyniec was 6-7 from the field and 3-4 from three, while Whiting was 6-12 shooting.  The Golden Bears shot a solid 84.2% from the free throw line (16-19).

LAST YEAR AT R/A FACILITY... The Mustangs defeated the Golden Bears 60-55 on December 10, 2011. Rachel Hansen led the way for CU with 13 points on 4-12 shooting with four boards.  Carissa Wolyniec and Anika Whiting also scored in double-digits with 11 and 10, respectively.  The Bears shot 30.5% (18-59).
