ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia University women's basketball team opens the 2012-13 campaign Saturday at Michigan Tech. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Houghton, Mich.
The Golden Bears and Huskies will meet for the fifth time with the series tied 2-2. Michigan Tech won the last meeting 66-52 on November 6, 2011 in St. Paul.
Jodi Batzel (Rochester, Minn.) tallied 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field and hauled in five rebounds.
Anika Whiting (Ashland, Wis.) also reached double figures with 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting and five rebounds as well.
Saturday's game will provide live stats and a pay-per-view video stream. The cost to
