Golden Bears look to get back on track tonight, Sunday

ST. PAUL, Minn. –
After a disappointing road trip last weekend that resulted in two one-goal losses, the Concordia University soccer team returns home tonight to kickoff Homecoming Weekend. The Golden Bears (4-5-1, 3-3-1 NSIC) will host Wayne State (1-8-1, 1-5-1 NSIC) tonight at Sea Foam Stadium, beginning at 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, Concordia will take on Augustana (4-4-2, 3-2-2 NSIC) at 1:00 p.m.

Concordia hopes to continue its success at home this weekend as the Golden Bears boast a 4-0-1 record at Sea Foam Stadium.

With 53 more minutes played, senior Kim Sauberlich (Appleton, Wis.) will break the school record for most career minutes played in a Concordia jersey. The senior defender has logged 5,053 minutes over her career and trails Sara Sather (2007-10) who has 5,106 career minutes.
