ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University soccer team hopes to get back to its winning ways this weekend with two NSIC games on the road. On Saturday, the Golden Bears (6-7-1, 5-5-1 NSIC) will take on Sioux Falls (0-13-1, 0-10-1 NSIC) at 11:00 a.m. On Sunday, Concordia will face Southwest Minnesota State (7-5-1, 5-5-1 NSIC) at 1:00 p.m.
The Golden Bears have yet to win a game on the road with an 0-7 mark as the visitors and will look to change that around against the winless Cougars on Saturday. The two teams have not faced each other since 2006 when the Bears won 2-1 in double overtime.
Concordia will also look to keep its hot streak against the Mustangs alive on Sunday. SMSU leads the all-time series 8-6-1, but the Golden Bears have won the last six meetings dating back to 2007.
