sophomore rachel hansen (eagan, minn.) led all scorers with a game-high 16 points. Hansen was 10-12 from the free throw line as she attacked the basket regularly throughout the game, delivering assists to just one turnover.

fellow sophomore carissa wolyniec (minneapolis, minn.) never saw the free throw line and still managed a 13-point effort for the bears, canning three three-pointers after her six three-point game yesterday.

as sophomore post player jodi batzel (rochester, minn.) battled foul trouble during the contest but the bears relied on freshman anika whiting (ashland, wis.) to handle the marauder forwards. Whiting answered by tallying a double-double as she grabbed 10 rebounds to accompany her 14 points.

sophomore erica gress (apple valley, minn.) added 7 points to her game-high 12 rebounds off the bench.

junior forward linda murray led the marauders in scoring and rebounds with 11 for each statistic. Her double-double effort wasn’t enough to overcome the team’s 18 turnovers.

although the marauders outscored concordia’s bench 31-19 in the game, u-mary shot 23.4% from the field. U-mary tied with 10:49 to play in the first half and never saw an even score again. The bears had a comfortable 41-30 halftime lead and led by as much as 27 in the contest.
