st. Paul, minn. - the northern sun (nsic) has released the 2009-10 nsic spring all-academic teams with concordia university placing 34 student-athletes on the annual team. The spring all-academic team represents baseball (8), softball (5), men's outdoor track field (4), women's outdoor track field (7), men's golf (6) and women's golf (4). To be eligible, student-athletes must carry a cumulative 3.20 grade point average, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing and must have completed a full academic year at the institution (true redshirt freshmen and first year transfers ineligible). full nsic all-academic spring team
concordia finished the 2009-10 year with 80 student-athletes between the three seasons (30 fall, 16 winter, 34 spring) with the spring season earning the most honors.
