Concordia extends league lead in nsic race

duluth, minn. - the 23rd-ranked concordia university women's basketball team earned a weekend sweep on the road, knocking off the university of minnesota duluth 83-72 at romano gymasium on saturday night. The golden bears move to 12-3 in the league (18-4 overall), combined with an augustana loss to wayne state, putting them a game and a half ahead of both teams who are currently tied at 10-4. Concordia's third opponent of the home stretch is msu moorhead on feb. 20, in fourth at 10-5 in the standings.
