mary used a 16-7 run at the end of the first half to take command of the game. The golden bears used a 8-0 run to start the second half to pull with in three at 45-42. Quoie had five of the eight points to key the rally.

the marauders responded buy scoring six straight to take a 51-42 lead with 17:30 left in the game. Cu came right back with a six in row of their own and a quoie hit a three pointer moments later after a mary basket to get within two at 53-51 with 15:15 left.

with the score at 58-55 in favor of mary, the marauders went on an 8-0 run to pull away 66-55. The lead got as large as 14 with eight minutes left. The golden bears went on an outstanding 22-19 run to cut the mary lead to 87-86 with 1:22 left in the game. Mary kept the lead and hickman hit a jumper to cut the lead back to one with 16 seconds left. Two free throws by laura peterson made the mary lead three. A three pointer by quoie missed as the marauders.
