The game started out with a four-run first inning as jamie lindboe collected two rbi with a single and calli brennan drove out her first collegiate homerun, a two-run dinger that scored lindboe. The team's third inning saw 12 batters step up to the plate as six additional runs were scored. anna bjorlin and tiff rodd each had two-run singles and the golden bears put up five hits in the inning.
cassye mcmahon pitched the four-hit win, striking out four batters as she improved to 4-0 on the season. She only gave up one earned run and completed the game in just five innings of work, seeing four batters in three of these innings.
lindboe was 3-for-3 at the plate with a walk, collecting her two rbi and three runs scored. natalie mast was also perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a set of walks and stealing a base. Brennan led all players with three rbi. Lindboe's performance continues a 7-game hit streak, while bjorlin has marked rbi in six consecutive games.

stephanie schmikla (3-3) took the loss for the golden bears. She threw the entire game, giving up 17 hits to csu-pueblo. She had three strikeouts. Csup was guided by lead-off hitter janine tyler with four hits, two runs and two rbi.
