The beavers out-rebounded the golden bears 41-31 on their way to a 5-9 overall and 3-4 nsic record. Concordia falls to 6-7 overall and 4-2 in the nsic before they head to minnesota duluth for an 8:00 pm game tomorrow night.

25 points from guard mike cunningham was not enough to hold the beavers at bay in friday's game. Cunningham hit seven field goals and got to the charity stripe for ten free throws in the game. He also had five rebounds and five assists.

the first half saw leads from both teams, with bemidji state going up early and the golden bears taking the lead in the later parts of the period. The golden bears hit their shots down the stretch, using a 51.7% shooting average to take the 41-36 lead into halftime.

mike cunningham scored in double figures in both periods of the game, finishing with 87-of-16 field goals and 10-of-15 free throws for 25 points. craig heiman had 19 points and ten rebounds to complete a double-double. matt cadwell came off the bench for 21 points, five rebounds and three assists. The team shot 43.9% in the game.

bemidji state was paced by seth haake and jake lindstrom with 21 and 20 points each, respectively. Three other beavers players finished with double figures in scoring. Bryce tesdahl had a team high nine rebounds. The beavers shot 46.6% from the field, hitting 8-of-17 three-point shots.
