the golden bears took the match by scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-19. Palkert was joined by senior whitney meierotto in double digits for kills, with meierotto posting ten in the match. The team continued their strong hitting with a .366 offensive performance and also had another strong defensive match, allowing regis to hit just .099.
concordia had four team blocks with maria steinhagen and sadie kessler each tabbing two assists and kessler also roofing an ru player on her own. Sophomore rachel knutsen was the leading defender with 14 digs, followed by mary slinger with 12. The golden bears out-dug regis 41 to 26. Concordia also had nine ace serves, including three from knutsen.
this is the fourth straight three-game win for concordia, who dropped their season opener to uc san bernardino. They have since posted five straight wins, playing just one extra game in the streak.
