the golden bears made no game of it in the 25-17, 25-13, 25-17 win. Eight team blocks mixed with poor warrior hitting gave concordia a healthy lead in each of the games. Emily palkert was the only player in the match with double figures in kills, finishing with 14. She hit .346 and also had two solo blocks and two block assists. Maria steinhagen marked a .438 hitting average with eight kills and two block assists. Sadie kessler had three serving aces, three block assists and a solo block. The team hit .284 on the night.

the golden bear defense was shored by mary slinger with 13 of the team's 46 digs. Maggie mcnamara posted a double double with 32 assists and 11 digs.

winona's top hitting player on the roster had six kills, followed by three players with five kills each. No player had double figures in digs, although several came close.

the win is the 14th straight for the golden bears, who are ranked #2 in the country. The next test for concordia comes tuesday when they play at #13 southwest minnesota state.
