The Concordia baseball team is off to a solid start on the annual trip to sunny Fort Myers, Florida. Taking three of their first four games on the trip to improve their season record to 3-2.
Heading to Florida with an 0-1 record, the Bears rebounded by sweeping a doubleheader with Gannon, 11-1 and 10-4 on Saturday before taking them down for a third-straight game, 6-2 on Sunday. They dropped their first game on the trip yesterday, a 6-2 loss to St. Leo.
Today at 1:30 p.m., the Bears will take on the Minnesota Twins in their annual scrimmage against the defending central division champions.
